The company wants you to give up and just walk away, take their "settlement" which is a "low ball offer" or accepting that you're "under-insured", leaving a lot of your $'s on their table, and leaving you quite short, or sometimes even... unpaid.

 

Do you really believe that without a lot of your money & WITH ONLY THEIR "settlement"

(low offer), that it's actually enough for you to replace the Home or Business that you've lost, plus all of your hard-eaned and paid-for Contents or Inventory?

 

If it's not enough coverage... didn't their Agent assure you that it would be? Were you paid the cost to put you back the way you were... before this loss? If not... WHY NOT?

 

Recovering from a catastrophe is a tremendously stressful and unstable time in your life. Truth is, most people get delayed so much that they become worn down, demoralized and just give up. Then, they just accept being denied or simply take their insurance company's "settlement" (low offer), and then move on... feeling significantly shorted and defeated.

If you doubt that their insurance company is interested in keeping your money, consider this…

 

  • To the insurance company, your claim pay-out comes right out of their profits.
  • They state that you "Under-Insured" your Business or Home.  Did you really ask their Agent to only insure 50% or 60% of your property... and intentionally leave yourself financially responsible for all the rest?
  • "Under-Insured", Under-Paid, Delayed, and Denied Claims Make Insurance Executives INCREDIBLY RICH.  Don't Let What You Are Owed Become Part Of Some Insurance Executive's Bonus!
  • Denied claims may well be reversed, with the proper professional handling!
  • There are many “Grey Areas” in an insurance policy; and any "settlement" offered is probably at the lowest amount of an insurance adjuster’s range.

It's NOT Your Fault.

 

You are no doubt learning that you are NOT in a position of power when trying to recover from their Insurance Company, through their hired, trained, and very experienced personnel.

 

Here’s what you’re up against:

  • Can you really become a Claim Professional overnight, to compete with their Claim Professionals
  • What you say commits you, but what their Rep or Adjuster says is without authority
  • Are you an expert in coverage interpretatins, policy language and definitions
  • Would someone else, suddenly in a very stressful situation, really become as competent as you in your profession, overnight

Learn To Obtain a Much Fairer Settlement Yourself...

What Damaged OR Destroyed Your Home OR Business...

 

Fire, Flood, Hurricane, Earthquake?

 

Do you feel Uncertain, Confused, Lost, Overwhelmed, Frustrated, or just plain Worn Out trying to deal with:

 

- The Claim Representative or Adjuster

 

- Understanding your Policy

 

- Why Appreciating Assets are Depreciated

If it has, then consider: Have you ever sold something so quickly and easily that you knew you had significantly under-priced it? This can easily happen to you. Then the insurance company wins BUT you lose! Remember: Settled and Closed claims may be re-opened!

 

Be sure to have a complete Professional review of your claim and situation, once you have received at least your Dwelling, Other Structures, and Trees/ Shrubs/Plants Settlement Offers... before your sign a "Proof of Loss."

 

That Professional opinion (whether or not you are being paid fairly for your loss) is critical to your rebuilding and finances, and that's most important to know.

 

"Under-Insurance" (for total losses) and "Insulating Glass" Units-dual pane windows & doors (for partial losses) are THE 2 LARGEST PROBLEMS for the property owners within the "CSFD's Fire Zone" in Mountain Shadows.

 

 

 

For Partial losses:

 

The major dual pane window and door manufacturers ("Andersen", "Pella", "IGW", and "Cardinal") ALL AGREE THAT:

 

These units almost certainly have imperceptable damage to: hardware, glass, seals, weather-stripping, frame, sliding mechanisms, flanges, etc., which most likely results in failures within several years since being exposed to heat over 160 degrees F, such as in a fire, and therefore Should Be Replaced. Also, their Warrantee is no longer valid or in force for any "heat related" damages.

 

 

 

For Total losses:

 

"Under-Insurance" is commonly known by the insurance industry to cause about:

 

2/3 of US Homeowners' homes to be "Under-Insured" by 50% or more, and

 

3/4 of US Homeowners' contents to be "Under-Insured" by 50% or more.

 

Think about that for a moment or two:

 

If you and 2 neighbors/friends have TOTAL losses, then 2 of you probably are "Under-Insured" on 50% (or more) for your homes AND your contents.

 

There may well be a solution, which has been quite successful... without a lawsuit in most claims.  Just how hard do or did you work to obtain a net, after tax, $100,000. or $250,000. or more?

 

Probably pretty hard. Don't let money that you should've been paid just walk away while hearing: "Its too bad that you're so Under-Insured."  In almost all situations, an Agent said: "You are fully covered by your Replacement policy."

 

So... why do you find out now that you aren't "fully covered"? Isn't that a brokenpromise?
